Description:

This painting was the result of volunteer batchelor buttons and daisies growing outside our kitchen window. The shade from the house worked nicely to emphasize the intense power of the daisies. I was "taken" by the introduction of light in the upper or further reaches of the garden. I worked quickly and this painting came together in a way that carries a certain strength in its free execution.
